”Man… what’s up with Korin and those fish? Can’t he just go fish himself or somethin’?” Kamina muttered, more to himself than anyone else, as he was pretty much alone by the lake, anyway.
Sitting by the shore, he looked out at the lake as it slowly moved by. The current wasn’t strong by any means, and fish swam around in the lake without a care in the world… and still… none of them were biting on the hook of the line that Kamina had in the water. The line was, of course, attached to Kamina’s fishing rod… but still… this was taking hours. He had a few fish stored in a bag that kept them cold, but he felt like he wanted more if he was going to trade them to Korin for some beans
“Man… stupid cat… get out of the damn tower and get the fish on your own, huh? … And gimme some beans…” he muttered, as he leaned back, lying in the grass.
And then he felt it. A familiar tuck on the line… a light movement in the fishing rod. A wide grin spread across Kamina’s lips as he reached for his sunglasses and put them on as he sat up.
“Well well well! What have we here! Another fish wish to challenge the mighty Kamina-sama! Prepare for instant annihilation!” he shouted at the top of his lungs, scaring every bird in the general vicinity as he held the rod, giving the fish some line.
He could just pull it up, of course. It was just a normal fish, nothing special… but, it could let go. And he couldn’t have that. But, after a bit of playing around, he had enough and was sure the fish was stuck, so he pulled… and it flew out of the water, landing in Kamina’s hand. ---

Holding the cooling bag that he used to store the fish in Kamina flew straight up besides the tower leading to Korin, a grin on his lips. This was SO much better than climbing… faster too. What had taken him days to climb took him about an hour or so to fly up, and he could live with that. Still, being able to fly faster than this would be nice… but eh, he figured he had to get stronger for that to work out.
Coming up to the top, he landed and looked around to see Korin sleeping by the fountain.
“Yo, Korin! I got your fish!” he shouted, waking the poor cat.
Startled, Korin looked around for a bit, before spotting Kamina and the fish. “Oh, that’s great, Kamina! Here, here, have some beans, then I’ll just get busy with these myself!” he said as he walked over to Kamina, producing a pair of senzu beans that he handed over in return for the fish that Kamina had brought him.
Looking at him for a bit, Kamina shrugged, took the beans and then walked towards the edge of the tower. “Well, see ya Korin. I’ll be back some other time.”
