Kensei strolled into the dojo, looking around carefully. There was no one here... Good. That meant he'd easily be able to train without being seen, and no one would interfere with his attempts to master moves in which the basic forms of them were realeased in the hollow battle. The first, the one which cought his eye and actually made him freeze mid-fight and admire his action, and actually almost got him killed, was the move in which he forced the strength he was trying to connect with from his body and hit the opponant. He'd heard of it before. "Kaiho..." he mumbled. He thought of what he did before, and went to replicate it. His clenched his right fist, concentrating energy into his arm as the aura being sent off of it was actually visible now, little strands of ki raising and falling. "HA" he yelled, shoving his fist forward. It started out strong, but... The energy quickly evaporated and when it hit the straw dummy, it's tied on forhead protectors extra string swayed gently. But, as soon as Kensei failed his attempted move, inspiration struck him. His attack, the only one he still had from soul reaper days... He concentrated energy in his hand, shooting it out. The energy shot out, hitting the training dummy, but didn't push it back. No, on the contrary. It latched on, pulling the thing towards Kensei. Then, realizing the way to maintain his energy to drag the doll forward was, ironically, the same way to send it back. Only, without the slight fluctuation at the end to make it expand enough to latch on. Kensei punched forward. "HA" he yelled, hitting the dummy hard and sending it flying backwards, hitting the wall and exploding into straw. "Good..." Kensei yelled. This wouldn't normally have been to shocking that he was able to do it... But he hadn't made contact with it with anything more than the strength that was propelled forward after the punch! "FUCK YEAH!" yelled Kensei, punching the air, the ripple of strength shooting through the roof. "... Woops" he said, laughing.
Next move he wanted to learn, and probobly the major one for now: A ki blast. This one would probobly be the easiest move, and the last step into learning how to fly. First off, Kensei balanced energy into his left fist, watching it form the method needed to use a kaiho. Then he concentrated energy into his hand, powering up for a Gravity Punch. However, when he turned and pushed it out with the method used to do Kaiho, he watched it go straight into the next doll, blowing up, but... It was TOO straight. If he could propell energy at an angle, he could catch them off guard if it went at un unexpected angle. He concentrated on the target, throwing the ki ball to the side, but... It didnt arch. It went straight into a rack of equipment, blowing it (and part of the wall) into nothing. He continued trying, realizing it was no good, until... He finally was able to get down the fomation of the energy ball, and was able to throw it independantly. Then, one last idea. Frisbys... They arched when throwing. He looked at the energy ball in his hand, turning and throwing it hard to the left. The ki blast smoothed out into a circle, traveling fast, almost missing its target, then... Arched! It started to arch, turning back and hitting the rear of the target, exploding and sending splinters of wood, cloth, and nails at him, landing around him but not on him. Perfect... Just like that he'd been able to master two of the moves that he'd been able to coincidentally use against the hollow.

As Hell opened its gates before me,
It was not to welcome in its next victim,
But to invite in its new ruler
